How much power do I need my station to have?

The power needed depends on your electric vehicle's power acceptance. You can check out this page to find out what the optimal power is for your car. A 30A (7.2kW) charger is enough for most cars. A 40A (9.6kW) station might be useful in the long run, as future generations of EVs might have a higher power acceptance than current EVs.
