2025 has been a transformative year for ChargeHub. From new app features to major network expansions and deeper community engagement, every improvement has been driven by a simple mission: make public charging easier, more transparent, and more accessible for every EV driver in North America.

As we close out the year, we’re proud to reflect on the progress we made together and to share what’s ahead for 2026.

This year marks a turning point for ChargeHub with the launch of our new subscription designed to simplify and enhance the charging experience. Members benefit from more affordable charging with no per-session activation fees, real savings for EV drivers who charge frequently.

Expanding Access: New Integrated Networks

A key priority for ChargeHub in 2025 was expanding network compatibility to give users more charging options, all through a single app. Our public charging coverage now includes four major new networks:

Each new integration adds convenience for drivers, but more importantly, it strengthens North America’s public charging ecosystem by reducing fragmentation.

As new networks continue to join the platform, ChargeHub is investing in better coverage, seamless activations, and an increasingly unified charging experience for drivers coast to coast.

Smarter Tools

Search filters and marker definitions now include more explanations about charging power. Users can therefore better filter stations based on their vehicle's capabilities and desired charging type.

Your Experiences: New In-App Surveys

To continue enriching the quality of shared information, new surveys appear after specific interactions. This feedback helps our team continuously improve data accuracy and service quality.

State of Public Charging in 2025

With more than 155,000 charging ports accessible and payable via the ChargeHub app, covering 95% of the Canadian public network and up to 75% of the US public network, public charging has never been simpler. EV drivers using ChargeHub can now access multiple charging networks, all from a single app.

Government Incentives

Regarding government incentives in 2025, some federal subsidies for electric vehicle purchases have been depleted, such as Canada's "Drive Green" program (iZEV). However, several Canadian provinces and certain U.S. states continue to offer incentives for purchasing a new EV. For example, Quebec provides a provincial subsidy of $4,000.
