at first there was a second car here and my charge rate according to the chargepoint app was 2.2kW, after they left it went up to 4.7kW. obviously the 2 charging connectors are sharing the same circuit, which even at full power is only 24A.

This is easy to find, and both spaces were available when I showed up. unfortunately, it is slower than the average public charger at only 5kW (24A@210v) It is paid parking, but if you are going to be parked here anyway, might as well plug in to get some charge back. Folks complain on another app about the parking fees on top of the charging or how it is slower, yes cheaper and faster options exist in Saint John, but really, there ought to be at least one of these stations in every parking garage and parking lot. We have a ways to go before it makes sense to complain about any working charging station.

Have to pay for parking and for charging at this spot. It’s also extremely slow, 24A charger
