For most Shell stations you must plug the connector in the car first and then starts the charge in the app. But some Shell stations are the opposite... Help others by sharing your experience in the "Comments" section. Please report steps taken for a successful start.
Station ID 153030 was shown as Faulted in the app. The display of the unit had the message: “E-STOP” on it. I called Shell Recharge customer service and they attempted to address the issue remotely but the unit did not respond. I asked the support agent if I should try to reset the emergency stop. They said it wouldn’t help. After getting off the phone, I decided to reset the emergency stop button and that actually cleared the fault. I was then able to charge

The Shell Recharge app does not work. Had to call the toll-free number to activate customer support said they will look into it and it should be fixed within 24 hours. We’ll see.
