The Electric Circuit
The Electric Circuit, powered by Hydro-Quebec, is one of the biggest networks of charging stations for electric vehicles in Quebec and Ontario. They offer level 2 charging stations (240 volts) and fast charging stations (level 3). Their level 2 charging stations have a plug compatible for all North American electric vehicles. As for their fast (level 3) charging stations, they have a SAE Combo connector or a CHAdeMO connector. Cost Per Charge
Please note that if you wish to access a charging station in a paid parking lot, you must pay the normal price of a parking place, which is not included in the Electric Circuit service card. To charge at a level 2 charging station (240 volts), the Electric Circuit offers two options: either a flat rate of $2.50 (tax included), no matter the duration of the charge, or an hourly rate of $1 per hour (tax included), billed by the minute. By using ChargeHub’s free mobile app before charging, you can find out the rates applicable at the charging station. As for the cost per charge at a fast charging station, fees of $10 per hour are billed by the minute.
