On The Run is a relatively new EV fast charging network in Canada, primarily located at Chevron gas stations in British Columbia and Alberta. It's part of the Parkland network and offers a growing number of 150 kW CCS chargers (100 kW for CHAdeMO).

How to Use On The Run charging stations

Using an On The Run charging station is generally straightforward. Here's a basic outline:
 
  1. Locate a charging station: Use the On The Run website or app to find a station near you.
  2. Park your vehicle: Ensure your vehicle is parked safely and within reach of the charging cable.
  3. Prepare your vehicle: Open the charging port on your electric vehicle.
  4. Choose the connector: On The Run stations typically offer CCS and CHAdeMO connectors. Select the appropriate one for your vehicle.
  5.  Connect the charging cable: Carefully plug the connector into your vehicle's charging port.
  6. Initiate charging: The charging process usually starts automatically once the connector is securely plugged in. However, some stations might require additional steps, such as using a mobile app or RFID card.
  7. Monitor charging: Keep an eye on the charging status on your vehicle's display or the charging station's screen.

The price per kWh will be displayed in the Journie Rewards App and the On the Run ultra-fast charger screen.

You can also find out the cost of charging at an On The Run charging station, as well as their locations, using the ChargeHub App.

The Journie Rewards App accepts the following payment methods: Credit Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. For a limited time, you can earn a $5 in-store reward for your first pay-as-you-go EV charge and then with every 100 kWh charged in the Journie app.

Note that you can also pay with Credit Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay at the charger payment terminal. However, we recommend using the Journie Rewards App to ensure you stay informed during your charge.
