The Electric Circuit, powered by Hydro-Québec, is one of the largest EV charging networks in Quebec and eastern Ontario. The network includes 5,000 charging stations, with over 800 fast Level 3 chargers and Level 2 stations (240 volts) compatible with all North American electric vehicles. The Electric Circuit EV charging network continues to expand, offering reliable and accessible charging for all EV drivers. 


Where to Find Electric Circuit Charging Stations

You can easily locate stations of the Electric Circuit EV charging network through ChargeHub’s map or the Electric Circuit app, both of which provide real-time availability and station details.


How to Use an Electric Circuit Charging Station

Start Charging:
  1. Open your preferred EV charging app (such as ChargeHub or Electric Circuit).
  2. Select the station ID that matches the station where you’re charging.
  3. Follow the prompts in the app to activate the charging session.
  4. The station will provide visual confirmation that it has received your charging request.
Connect Your Vehicle:
  1. Plug in the appropriate connector—CCS or CHAdeMO—depending on your vehicle’s compatibility.
  2. It may take a few seconds for the charging session to begin. Session updates on the app may take a moment to display.
Stop Charging: 
  1. To stop the charging session, press the Stop button on the station.
  2. Ensure the station indicates the session has ended.
  3. Safely unplug the connector from your vehicle.

Cost to Charge at Electric Circuit Charging Stations

As of April 2, 2024, a new pricing structure applies to stations of the Electric Circuit EV charging network. To view detailed pricing information, check the Electric Circuit app, the  Find a station section on their website or by consulting the ChargeHub application. Pricing depends on the type of charger used (Level 2 or Level 3).
