Co-op Connect Charging Network

Co-op Connect EV Charging Network
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) does business differently. At its core, FCL is a co-operative that supports other co-operatives that serve people in Western Canada.

FCL is a wholesaling, manufacturing, marketing and administrative co-operative owned by more than 160 independent retail co-operative associations. These retail co-ops own and operate agro centers, food stores, gas bars/convenience stores and home centers.

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is investing in a significant EV charging network expansion of its retail locations, as announced on May 28, 2024.

FCL’s charging network — Co-op Connect — is already operational in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. They have 29 DC fast chargers in 16 locations in those provinces.

The addition of 41 new 100 kW chargers at 23 stations in British Columbia in locations ranging from Fort St. John to Tofino, is a marked service increase. The chargers are SmartDC fast chargers from FLO.

The expansion aims to provide more opportunities for EV drivers, especially in rural cities and towns, as British Columbia moves toward 100% zero-emissions vehicles by 2035. You can use the Co-op Connect app to locate charging stations, check availability, and view pricing.

  • Charging times may vary based on your vehicle's battery capacity and the charger's power output.

  • When your EV is fully charged or when you're ready to leave, unplug it from the station.
  • If you used the app to start the session, you can also end it through the app.

Cost to Charge your Electric Vehicle on a Co-op Connect Charging Station

Unfortunately, we couldn't find specific, publicly available pricing information for charging an electric vehicle (EV) at a FCL's Co-op Connect charging station in Canada.

To get the most accurate and up-to-date pricing information, I recommend the following:

  1. Check the Co-op Connect App or Website: If available, this is the most reliable source for pricing details.
  2. Contact FCL Directly: Reach out to Federated Co-operatives Limited for specific pricing information and any available plans or rates.
  3. Charging apps: You can also find out the cost of charging at  a FCL's Co-op Connect charging station, as well as their locations, using the ChargeHub App.
