For most Shell stations you must plug the connector in the car first and then starts the charge in the app. But some Shell stations are the opposite... Help others by sharing your experience in the "Comments" section. Please report steps taken for a successful start.

Station ID 52238A (both ports) are offline and displays a message: NETWORK DOWN Please Contact Customer Support. Unable to initiate a charge with Shell Recharge app. Also, Station ID 52153A has a screen that is completely dark. Reported both issues to support via email.

Station ID 52153A presented with a black screen. Called Shell Recharge customer support and they said that it showed offline on their end and couldn’t do a remote reset. Upon checking the history, customer service noted that the issue was reported yesterday (10/14/2023) and that someone would be sent out to fix it. All four other charger connectors here are in use.
