The station is defective.

Both charging plugs have broken handles, so you vehicle will not lock onto them if you just insert it into your vehicle's port. You can get around this by lifting the handles all the way up before plugging into your vehicle. Wait like 3 seconds and then your vehicle will lock onto it and charge.
