Western New Mexico University EV Charging Stations

Charged here Ap. 1, '25. Downloaded a ViaLynk app to start. It's free... Location is in a canopied parking lot of the Uni...which seems to have only 1 address but it is a small campus so you can drive around and find it. Fast enough for a Bolt EUV. You really need a charger in this town if you want to visit the Gila Cliff Dwellings and then head E to I-25 in the Rio Grand Valley (over a mountain range).

Some students (3 cars) going to the close by field,and parking in EV spots, inform me that they are allowed to park anywhere and chose to use the EV spots, even thought there are plenty of non-ev spots available (I see 20 from my spot). Although they are a few car lengths further. I note this as it seems to suggest a possible higher success rate of charging access before or after athletic practice or events (in case anybody really needs a charge). The listed "available" does not reflect non-ev cars taking the space. Another person informed me that during a football game, the charging stations are unavailable. If you are coming from out of town, it is perhaps a good idea to "fill up" in Lordsburg or Las Cruces, (if you need a fast or large charge). Free is very nice, but available access is better (even if it had a cost).
