Upsala Family Restaurant - Upsala, ON EV Charging Stations

I had a positive experience.

After receiving help from a female agent when I called Chargehub the process was easy. However, I couldn't stop the charge from the machine's screen or the app. I had to wait until it stopped at 90% SOC.

Bit bumpy driving up to it but no access issues. Worked fine but it is a 50kw so you have time for a sandwich at the resto.

The marker on the ChargeHub map for the Ivy chargers is on the wrong side of the road. The Ivy chargers and the Tesla chargers are all on the south side of the highway, on either side of the Upsala Family Restaurant.

aug16: Unit on the right works, but cut out several times due to error. Still, absolutely necessary to charge here for most EVs traveling this stretch of Ontario. Just keep a close eye on your charging progress while you do. (and enjoy a delicious butter tart inside of they're open)

August 15 2025 CHARGED SUCCESSFULLY at 49kwh constant to 90% charge. We used Charger IVY-0050, with the CCS connection. Someone scribbled "This never works" on the charger but IT DOES WORK. May the Force be with you.

IVY IS GARBAGE.

This is my second time with ivy charging network. Their chargers never work and that’s terrible because no other chargers in the area and they never answer their phone number. TERRIBLE.

Both chargers functionnal. 50kw
