I went to this location intending to charge today, and the unit has been removed; only the conduit--terminated into a junction box--remains. There is no signage explaining the removal or whether or not the unit will be replaced.

According to SemaConnect Customer Support, this unit is a part of a nationwide outage of their older units which still depend on Verizon's 2G network, which has been recently sunsetted. The representative had no information as to when it would be back up, but presumably the hardware will need to be upgraded to a 4G or 5G unit (3G is scheduled for sunset at the end of 2022), so ... yeah.
