How to Use a Shell Recharge EV Charging Station

You can also use the following instructions: 

  • Open the Shell Recharge app or use your preferred charging app (e.g., ChargeHub).
  • Locate a Shell Recharge station using the app’s map or by entering your location.
  • Plug in the charger to your vehicle’s charging port.
  • Start the charging session by following one of these methods:
    • Use the Shell Recharge app to initiate the session.
    • Tap your RFID card on the station’s reader if you have one.
    • Use your credit card by scanning the QR code on the charger.
  • Monitor the charging progress through the app.
  • End the session when your vehicle is charged by pressing “Stop” in the app or tapping the RFID card again.
  • Unplug the charger and resume your journey.
