This seems kind of expensive to me as well. Not that much cheaper than gas. For a Bolt, they say a 50kw charger can theoretically give you about 300km of range in an hour. I think that's the upper limit so it's probably more like 250km. The equivalent amount of gas for a honda civic to go 250km on the highway is maybe about 15 litres at 1.40/L = $21.

Seems expensive at $18 per hour.
