Love's Travel Stop EV Charging Stations

I charged on 10/3/26. the charger reports "rate restricted" or something like that. I still got about 117kw in my Ioniq 5. The cost is steep and this is true on the 65/79 corridor. The Tesla across the highway is not compatible, so this is one of few public stations in the area.

Charged yesterday around 7PM, the charge rate was usurious: $0.72/kWh. Charging through charge hub is a bit awkward as well, though it works ok. Overall very mixed on this charger, though it’s the last charger for a hundred miles if you’re going towards Cincinnati. And it still only delivered 150kW. Love’s implementation leaves a lot to be desired. Might be worth skipping if you have the margin to push a little farther and hit some other chargers on 64.

Works well enough. A little slow today but a whole lot better than nothing — peak 150kW, chargers say “Grid Limited”.

All chargers are blocked with caution tape and unusable. Hit by lightning. Not open until July 9 at earliest.
