Manitoba offers rebates for electric vehicles: $4,000 for a new vehicle, $1,000 to $4,000 for a lease, and $2,500 for a used vehicle. Buyers, including those who purchased between August 1, 2023, and July 1, 2024, can apply for their rebate online via the Manitoba Public Insurance website.

There's a rebate program for battery electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids and home charging stations for EVs. You can receive up to $5,000 on new models and $2,500 on used electric vehicles, which is quite similar to the federal program. The offer is "stackable", meaning you can use the provincial and federal rebates together for a combined maximum of $10,000.

Nova Scotia residents can receive up to $3,000 rebate on the purchase of a new long-range electric vehicle with six seats or less, and $2,000 for a used short-range electric vehicle with six seats or less. This rebate is called the Electrify Nova Scotia Rebate Program, and when combined with the federal program, you can get up to $8,000 rebate on the purchase of a new EV.
