Canadian Tire 264 (Scarborough, ON) EV Charging Stations

After waiting for the CHAdeMO port to become free, I found out it didn't work. Tech support couldn't get it to start either.

Once again, despite half the CCS plugs being available, the CHAdeMO port is blocked by someone using the CCS plug. Hopefully he won't be too long. I just hope he's not one of these drivers who charges to 100% on level 3.

The only CHAdeMO port was actually tmfree this time. Unfortunately, it was because that charger was not operating. Tech support said it was a software issue that may be resolved in a ciuple of days. That doesn't help me.

Just had extreme difficulty and getting a session going, even with the help of the very patient tenant at the other end, the helpline. Will not accept our account. Tried two different stations. Each of them started charging and then quit repeatedly. Moving on.

Every time I come to this station only one will work and sometimes non of them. McCowan Rd at Canadian Tire Station ID 800018. Really frustrating. I have been stuck here for over an hour. Customer Service could not help at all. Many cars just try and leave

150 KW charger refused my Visa card twice before accepting it. charged at only 80 Kw from 30-32% then shut off. Restarted with difficulty and charged at 80 KW.

As of Jul 7th, 2025, price is $0.6/kWh for 1-350kW. Pass+ members pay $0.48/kWh

Once again the CHAdeMO port was in use by someone using CCS. Fortuately he was almost done. They've possibly updated the stations since the last time I was here as there is now an option to pay directly by credit card. However I couldn't get it to work. It didn't seem to recognize my chip card as I never got a prompt for a pin. It recognized when I swiped the card but declined it because it has a chip. The tap your phone option didn't work either but starting through the app did . I like this station because it's inexpensive, reasonably fast and works.
