Mammoth Lakes, CA - Old Mammoth Rd - Tesla Destination EV Charging Stations

Not able to find port

We tried to charge tonight at the Tesla Super Charger center in Mammoth Lakes (4/19/2025) and the Tesla app said we were not authorized. Kia should have gained access in March, but Kia still isn't listed on the Tesla site. https://www.tesla.com/support/charging/supercharging-other-evs#vehicles

We could charge our Kia EV6 here, but it’s very slow at 6 kWh. There’s no charging cost. The destination chargers are located right before you see the superchargers. You need to download the Tesla app and set up an account before you can scan the small QR code on the charger's side to start it. Scanning the QR code at night is difficult since it’s so tiny, and our camera can't focus on it. One of us had to take a picture of it and zoom it in for the other person with the Tesla app to scan it.
