Chargers can be activated using the BC Hydro EV App, QR Code, or RFID Card. Download the BC Hydro EV app by searching BC Hydro EV in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This device is temporarily authorized to be used for the purpose of obtaining the basis of a charge for electricity, under terms and conditions established by Measurement Canada.

40 min max? taking up spot and charging stopped.

charging has stiped on vehicle that has taken a posted max 40 mins but charged for 1:14 mins. charge has stopped and car is still here.

PRICING UPDATE: Please be advised that effective May 1st, 2024, energy-based billing ($ per kWh) will apply at all of our public EV chargers. Level 2 charging will cost $0.2865/kWh and DC Charging for Fast Chargers rated 25 kW and higher will cost $0.3479/kWh. Please note that idle fees also come into effect at our Fast Chargers starting May 1st, 2024. Once your vehicle finishes charging, you'll have five minutes to disconnect before being charged a $0.40 per-minute idle fee. Thank you for your patience.
