Welcome to Good Hope Lake. This charging site is located on reserve land owned by the Dease River First Nation. First Nations EV drivers may be eligible for GST-exempt charging at this site. BC Hydro provides the following public EV charging services: 1 x DC Fast Charger 1 x Level 2 Charger Connector Types: CCS, CHAdeMO & J1772 Chargers can be activated using the BC Hydro EV App, QR code, or RFID Card. BC Hydro EV Announcement SITE UPDATE: DC fast charging available again at this site, along with Level 2 charging. The current fast chargers operate at 2025 kW and there are fewer fast charging ports available than previously. Charging times may be longer, please take this into consideration when planning your travel into this area.

MAINTENANCE CLOSURE (BC1-FW002): Please be advised that this charging station is temporarily closed for maintenance. Please make this a consideration for travel plans in the area as this charger is unavailable. Level 2 Charger on site; BC2-AB2014 remains fully operational. NOW OPERATIONAL: Please be advised that charger commissioning has been completed and both the Fast Charger and Level 2 are now available to the public. Please note the chargers will be kept in Free Vend Mode until a Hot Spot solution for App activation is installed this Fall. Please plug in the appropriate connector and use the touchscreen display to activate a session. Thank you for your patience.
