The city of Gaspé in Québec, Canada, has 46 public charging station ports (Level 2 and Level 3) within 15km. 67% of the ports are level 2 charging ports and 33% of the ports offer free charges for your electric car.

Perched on the side of the hill, where the York River flows into the Bay of Gaspé, the City of Gaspé has become an important tourist destination of the magnificent peninsula of Gaspésie. Fortunately, electric vehicle drivers can drive around this peninsula, from Matane to Amqui. In Gaspé, there are charging stations (level 2 and 3) within a radius of 15 km.

Now, a level 3 charging station (DCFC) has been put in service in Gaspé, near the intermodal station. The latter is one of the many level 3 charging stations that complete the electric corridor between the regions of Gaspésie and Lower Saint-Lawrence.

For electric vehicle drivers who are visiting, there are other level 3 charging stations (fast charging stations) located in Matane, Saint-Anne-des-Monts, Mont-Louis, Grande-Vallée, Percé, Chandler, Paspébiac, New Richmond, Pointe-à-la-Croix and Amqui.

Whilst visiting the City of Gaspé, you must make your way to the Forillon National Park. This vast park occupies the east end of the Gaspé Peninsula. Once you arrive in the park, you can explore the Cap Gaspé – a trail of 8 km where hikers can admire the Bay. Or, you can make your way to the Cap Bon-Ami. This one provides a superb view of the Peninsula. All to say, if you visit Gaspé, it will give you the opportunity to immerge yourself in one of Quebec’s greatest beauties.
